On Wednesday, September 11, 2023, PenFed sponsored the 20th Annual Military Heroes Golf Classic at The Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland to benefit Veterans and Active Duty Service Members. Maryland Gold Star Mothers, Paula Davis, Theresa Karlson, Janice Chance, Donna Robinson, Stephanie White, and Mary King volunteered at the event. They performed a variety of duties such as welcoming golfers, selling raffle tickets and distributing swag items. The Maryland Gold Star Mothers are looking forward to volunteering again at the next annual PenFed Golf Tournament.
