Gold Star Mothers Stephanie White, joined by her grandchild, Sheeba Khan, Khadidja Keita, Maria Turner, and their families, gathered at Mission BBQ in Laurel for the annual Gold Star Families Open House Luncheon. The event was graciously hosted by our favorite ambassador, Missy. A white rose awaited each mother at her seat, offering a touching tribute to her loved one. After a brief welcome, we read the names of our heroes aloud and shared a few words in their honor, keeping their memories close. Guests enjoyed a wonderful lunch, and Missy and her sister made the occasion even more special by handcrafting a custom flower bouquet for each mother. It was a heartfelt and memorable gathering.
