Welcome to the Gold Star Mothers Maryland Chapter, Inc. website.
We are mothers whose children died while in military service, or died as a result of that service, or are missing in action. We honor our children’s memories by serving others and healing together.
Message from the Chapter President
Welcome to the Gold Stars Mothers Maryland Chapter, Inc website. Thank you very much for taking the time to view our site to learn more about our organization because we have discovered that many people have never heard about us. This website was created as one of the ways to educate others about who we are, our history, our mission, events, etc. We are determined to do all that we can to make a positive difference in the lives of those whom we have committed to serve as we honor and remember the legacy of our fallen heroes’ selfless service and sacrifice. Since the founding of our chapter in 1946, we have been serving and supporting our veterans, active-duty service members, their families and citizens within our communities. Many of the events in which we have participated are posted under “News and Past Events”. We continue to seek and embrace opportunities to “Honor through Service.”
