On August 14, 2023, the Maryland Gold Star Mothers were very proud and honored to volunteer with the Nation’s Capital Chef’s Association (NCCA) charity golf tournament at the Crofton Country Club in Crofton, Maryland. Proceeds from this wonderful event went to Warrior Events. We are forever grateful to Bob Saunders, John O’Leary, and the rest of the team for their continued support of our Veterans and Gold Star Families. Gold Star Moms Paula Davis, Joy Goode, Janice Chance, Basmattie Bishundat, Rosmarie Ceo, Donna Robinson, Stephanie White, along with Gold Star Grandchildren Karma, Ethan, and Elana assisted with registration, raffles, and placing complimentary items in golf carts. A great time was had by all, and we look forward to assisting NCAA in the years ahead!
