The Maryland Chapter was asked by Marian James, Commandant of the Marine Corps League Baltimore detachment to donate toys to their annual Toys For Tots holiday drive. The toys were delivered by Janice Chance and Donna Robinson to the MCL.
The toys were purchased with the Mom’s personal funds. They donated 38 toys that filled up one large box and 3/4 of a second large collection box. Chapter members Khadidja Keita, Stephanie White and Maria Chambers donated toys, in addition to the officers Janice Chance, Chaplain; Kelly Swanson, President; Paula Davis, 1st VP; Theresa Karlson, Treasurer & Secretary and Donna Robinson, Sgt at Arms, and Gold Star sibling Christine Chance also donated toys.
Participating in the Holiday drive made it possible for the moms to be able to support a campaign that will hopefully bring much joy and cheer to Baltimore City children in need of toys for the Christmas Holiday.
