Maryland Chapter Christmas Donations to the Maryland Center For Veterans Education and Training Center (MCVET) Homeless Shelter Baltimore, Maryland December 7, 2021

Prior to the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the MD Chapter were able to participate and make annual Christmas donations during the MCVET Community Holiday dinners. However, since it was uncertain whether guests would be allowed to attend the dinner this year, the MD chapter decided to make their Christmas donations early. The MD Chapter was also made aware of an immediate need for large size coats by Ms. Cereta Spencer, Director of Development and Community Engagement.

Janice Chance and Donna Robinson delivered the requested five large size coats, presented a check for $750 and ten $25 Bath and Body work gift cards for the women veterans. The presentations were made to Mr. Jeffrey Kendrick, Executive Director, Ms. Rose Washington, Clinical Director of Intensive Outpatient Program Washington staff member and one of the female veterans, Ms. Parham who was also available at that time. The MD Chapter is committed to supporting the MCVET residents not only during the holidays, but throughout the year.
