On August 12th, the Maryland Gold Star Mothers were invited by Andrea Benedetti, founder of ImpactHumanity, Inc. ImpactHumanity Inc. provides mentorship and education for youth growing up in single-parent homes. The Maryland Gold Star moms assisted by distributing back packs filled with school supplies, hair care kits, and cleaning care kits. Along with the moms, the Travis Manion Foundation, Planet Fitness, and the Elevation Church were in attendance to assist with the event. Food was provided by “Ghazna Grill” and “Ruby’s”. The Maryland Gold Star Moms were represented by Khadidja C Keita and her daughter Sara.
