On Saturday, July 22, 2023 Gold Star Mom & Dad Garry & Yvonne Green were honored to participate in the Howard County Quarterly Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Ellicott City, MD. The ceremony consisted of 388 flags being retired, which was a record. Howard County Commission on Veterans and Military Families Commission, Chair J. Greg Jolissaint, MD. (U.S. Army Veteran) and Marine Corp League member Sgt. Bill Swain so graciously assisted in the process.
