On July 12, 2023, Warrior Events invited Maryland Gold Star Mothers to the Annapolis Blues soccer game held at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, MD. In addition, the moms were invited to a tailgate prior to the game. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and good food. At the start of the game, the moms were escorted onto the field where an announcer introduced each mom and shared a brief statement about their Hero. The fans were wonderful and gave the moms an applause and standing ovation. The moms were given complimentary Navy Soccer t-shirts before being escorted to the Press Box to watch the game in the air conditioning! Navy won the game with a score of 4-1! Go Blues!
