On Saturday, June 24, 2023, Wreaths Across America sponsored their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at The Compass Pointe Golf Course, in Pasadena Maryland. 88 golfers came out to play in the golf tournament. Larry Accord, US Army Veteran and coordinator of this event allowed The Maryland Chapter, Gold Star Mothers to donate $25.00 for a In Memory Sign of their loved ones to be placed on the greens. Maryland Gold Star Mother Stephanie White gave a speech about the Maryland Chapter Gold Star Mothers and her son PFC Robert Leon White. Over $15,000 was raised which will allow Wreaths Across America to purchase wreaths to lay on the graves of heroes resting in the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery. We are thankful for Wreaths Across America and their continued support of our Veterans, Gold Star Mothers and their families. The Maryland Chapter looks forward to providing support for future events.
