Maryland Chapter of the Warrior Brotherhood Motorcycle Club 2nd Poker Run Fundraiser American Legion Post 223 Sykesville, Maryland July 18, 2026

The Maryland Chapter of the Warrior Brotherhood Motorcycle Club (WBMC) held their 2nd Poker Run fundraiser on July 18, 2026 to honor five fallen heroes from Maryland. Their mission was to raise money to support their fellow veterans and to honor selected Gold Star family members and their fallen hero. The ride started and ended at the American Legion Post # 223 located in Sykesville, Maryland.  Each hero had their respective stop so that riders could collect playing cards to receive a prize at the end of the ride and to hear stories about the hero. The WBMC displayed canvas posters of each fallen hero that included their picture and information about them.  The President, Sid Sakota, AKA Ghost, gave remarks honoring the heroes and Gold Star family members.  They also shared that they donated $500 to the Maryland Chapter. The following heroes were honored: Airman First Class Patrick Glen Stellitano, U.S. Navy; Private First Class, Robert Leon White, U.S. Army; Airman First Class, Matthew R. Seidler, U.S. Airforce; Private First Class, Justin R. Davis, U.S. Army; and Lance Corporal Eugene C. Mills III, U.S. Marine Corps.  The participants were treated to a delicious BBQ meal and the Gold Star family members were given the opportunity to meet and talk to the riders and other guests. The WBMC riders plan to honor fallen heroes annually. Maryland Gold Star Mothers plan to support WBMC and attend next year.
