Maryland Gold Star Mothers enjoy supporting our troops, especially our personal family members who serve. Kelly Swanson’s nephew, SFC Joseph McCarthy, US Army, and his unit, Delta Company 588th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division are currently deployed overseas to Poland and we were happy to provide necessary requested items including snacks, toiletries and lots of love! Theresa Karlson, Paula Davis, Khadidja Keita and Kelly Swanson packed several boxes after our bi-monthly meeting at the American Legion Post 60. We are always grateful for the use of their facility, not only for our meetings, but for the space to be able to pack these needed items. We are truly fortunate to continue our mission to Honor through Service!
