Maryland Gold Star Mothers Theresa Karlson, Stephanie White, and Paula Davis were welcomed to the American Legion Post 60 in Laurel, Maryland on April 22, 2026 to receive a $2,000 donation check from the American Legion, a $2,000 donation check from The Sons Of The American Legion (SAL) and a $500 donation check from the American Legion Auxiliary Post 60. These donations received will enable the Maryland Chapter to continue to fulfill their mission as they strive to carry on the legacy of their Heroes service. Post 60 Commander Josephine Lohman and the American Legion have been faithfully supporting the Maryland Chapter not only monetarily but also allowing our Chapter to have our meetings there and to use their Hall to assemble gift bags for our VA Health Centers. President Theresa Karlson thanked the American Legion Post 60 for their donation and their unwavering continued support. The Maryland Gold Star Mothers Chapter is looking forward to their continued partnership with The American Legion.
