On August 20, 2026, Warrior Events hosted the Maryland and Delaware Gold Star Mothers and their guests for its 11th annual cruise aboard the Lady Sarah, offering an evening of fellowship, remembrance, and connection in support of Gold Star families.
Guests traveled by golf cart from the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel to the Annapolis City Dock before enjoying dinner, music, dancing, and time together on the Bay. Ken’s Creative Kitchen provided a memorable meal from appetizers through dessert, while the captain and crew ensured a safe and enjoyable cruise. Even though the weather was questionable in the beginning, it concluded with a beautiful double rainbow.
The Warrior Events Team further honored each mother with a beautiful gold scarf and held a raffle featuring a coffee-themed gift basket, quilt, patriotic wall hanging, and gold star crocheted blanket. The gathering concluded the following morning with breakfast at the newly opened Marmo Restaurant in the hotel.
