Maryland Chapter Mothers Theresa Karlson, Stephanie White, Donna Robinson and Julie El-Taher joined the Honor Flight Team, service members, and Veterans at the Baltimore/ Washington International Thurgood Marshal airport (BWI) to welcome and greet Veterans from Colorado that included Korean War Veterans and many Vietnam War Veterans.
The Veterans and their volunteers expressed their appreciation as the Moms and other patriots greeted them and rendered hand salutes. There were many hugs and introductions as the Veterans thanked everyone who greeted them. As the group walked through the airport, there were many waiting passengers who applauded and thanked the Veterans for their service.
The Maryland Chapter Moms consider it an honor to join the BWI Honor Flight team, service members and other patriots in welcoming our American Heroes to Maryland and look forward to participating in future scheduled Honor Flights.
