SOS Coordinator Mike Farlow and his lovely wife Karen were host and hostess for this annual Military Appreciation Night at the Cal Ripken Stadium, located in Aberdeen, Maryland to Gold Star Moms, Dads and Wives. The event provided an opportunity for the families to meet the new Garrison Commander: Col. Philip Mundweil. He and The Garrison Command Sgt Major Paul Denson were happy to meet everyone and to hear about what the Gold Star families thought about the APG Survivor Program. Maryland Gold Star President, Paula Davis attended the event along with Gold Star Mothers Synthia Carter, Tracy Miller, Elsheba Khan, Stephanie White, Yvonne Greene, Rosemarie Ceo, Janice Chance and Donna Robinson.
The meet and greet was met with warm and welcoming smiles and a photo-op with Cal Ripken Jr. for the families as everyone enjoyed the delicious meal prepared for them. A wonderful night was had by all.
