Even though it was a cold, rainy day on Friday, April 28th, 37 golfers came out in the early hours to play in the Tunnel to Towers (T2T) Charity Golf Tournament at the Oakmont Green Golf Course. Maryland Gold Star Mothers Theresa Karlson and Janice Chance provided support by working at the registration table and handed out swag bags with goodies donated by several donors. The Maryland Chapter was proud to be a Gold Sponsor for the event. John Benedictis owner of JB Homes of Keller Williams Realty partnered and coordinated with T2T to raise funds for this wonderful organization. Mike Paolercio, Golf Committee Director for T2T of New Jersey was also there to provide support for this inaugural charitable event. They raised over $5,000, which will help T2T give back to veterans, gold star families and first responders. The Maryland Chapter looks forward to providing support for future events.
