Enrique Navarrete serves as The Director of Public Relations for The Knights of Columbus, No 4449, St. Agnes Council located in Catonsville, Maryland. He invited The Maryland Gold Star Mothers to attend The Patriotic Program held on June 19, 2023. Maryland Gold Star Mothers Janice Chance, Paula Davis, Donna Robinson and Stephanie White were present at the event. Maryland Gold Star Mothers, President Paula Davis spoke about the mission and service of The Maryland Chapter Gold Star Mothers and about her son, PFC Justin Ray Davis. Maryland Gold Star Mothers Chaplain, Janice Chance spoke about her son, Captain Jesse Melton III. Each mother who attended will have a commemorative brick honoring their loved one’s service placed in The Knights of Columbus garden.
