Gold Star Mothers Maryland Chapter President & Chaplain, Janice Chance, Sgt at Arms, Donna Robinson, and Gold Star Spouse & Step Father Rev. Charlton Chance attended the First Lady Dawn Moore’s private Wreath laying ceremony at the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument in Annapolis, Maryland. Also, in attendance was Mr. Anthony Woods, Maryland Secretary of Veterans Affairs. After laying the wreath, First Lady Moore asked Janice, Charlton, and Donna to share about their hero. First lady Moore gave them hugs and assured them of the Governor’s and her commitment to continue to honor and remember our heroes and to support Gold Star Families. Secretary Woods also expressed his appreciation for the selfless service and sacrifice of our country’s heroes and reassured them of his continued support of Gold Star Families. Rev. Charlton Chance concluded the ceremony with a benediction.
