Gold Star Mothers & Families Luncheon VFW Auxiliary No. 7472 Ellicott City, Maryland September 18, 2022

On Sunday September 18, 2022 the Gold Star Mothers Maryland Chapter were guests at the Yingling-Ridgely VFW Auxiliary No. 7472 located in Ellicott City, Maryland. The Auxiliary hosted a wonderful luncheon for the Moms in honor of Gold Star Mothers and Families week. The hostess and host for the day were Sandi Kriebel, Past National President Auxiliary Chairman and Howard Clark VFW Chaplain. The Moms in attendance were Janice Chance, Donna Robinson, Gloria Crothers, Stephanie White, Paula Davis, Rosemarie Ceo, Mary O. King and Yvonne Green who dined on delicious chicken, shrimp and broccoli salad just to name some of the delicacies served. The Post and the Auxiliary both presented two separate checks ($200 each) to the Maryland Chapter. President Chance presented the four Vietnam Veterans, who were present, each with a Maryland Chapter’s 50th Anniversary Vietnam War Commemoration Challenge Coin. Also in attendance were VFW State Commander Bryan Lankford, VFW Auxiliary State Chairman President Wayne Lafleur, VFW Auxiliary National Council Member #3 and Past Department President, Cynthia Davis, and VFW Auxiliary National Legislative Ambassador Bobbie Goldman. Words of Welcome were delivered by Post Commander Bill Milner. The Moms enjoyed the fellowship with members of VFW Auxiliary 7472 and felt honored to be part of this event.
