On April 18, 2026, the Maryland Gold Star Mothers were invited by Mr. Michael Farlow, to attend a special event organized for Gold Star Mothers and Family Day at Aberdeen Proving Ground located in Harford County, Maryland. Maryland Chapter Moms, Theresa Karlson, Donna Robinson, and Stephanie White along with her grandson, Curtis Bailey attended. The event was held at the beautiful Living Legacy Forest with remarks from MG James D. Turinetti IV, and L. Edmonson II. This was followed by a Stone Dedication Presentation for Major George Leslie Horsman II. His family members were in attendance. Following the Stone Dedication, we listened to remarks from Command Sergeant Major Jay A. High. Afterward, we attended a backyard BBQ style reception. Theresa Karlson and Stephanie White won lovely gift baskets. It was a wonderful event and we are so thankful for the support that we receive from Aberdeen Proving Ground and Mr. Michael B. Farlow, Army Community Service Program Manager, Survivor Outreach Services.
