The Department of Maryland Veterans of Foreign War (Veterans of Foreign Wars) 106th Annual Convention was held in Ocean City at The Grand Hotel. The Annual Memorial Service took place on May 26, 2026. American Gold Star Mothers, Maryland Chapter Moms were once again invited to participate in the joint ceremony conducted by the VFW Department Legionnaires and Auxiliary officers. Stephanie White, Donna Robinson, Janice Chance and Gold Star Step Father Charlton Chance represented the Maryland Chapter. The VFW Maryland Department Chaplain Andrew Sandor conducted the Memorial Service. The moms and dad were given the honor to lay a flower in memory of their fallen hero. Following the ceremony, they were invited to attend to a special dinner hosted by the VFW Department Commanders and officers. The Service was well attended.
