Maryland Gold Star Mothers were invited to join Constellation Military Actively Connected (CMAC) on their bus trip to the Gettysburg battlefields in Pennsylvania. The CMAC is a group of Veterans who work at Constellation Energy which is based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Once we arrived in Gettysburg, a licensed tour guide provided several stories about the three-day battle between the Union and Confederate armies as we drove through areas of the battlefields. We were also treated to a delicious box lunch and enjoyed various conversations with the CMAC Veterans. We look forward to collaborating with this wonderful group on upcoming service projects.
