On Thursday, June 4, 2026, Wreaths Across America sponsored their 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at The Waverly Woods Golf Course located in Marriottsville, Maryland. Excited golfers came out to play in the golf tournament. Larry Accord, US Army Veteran and coordinator of this event allowed The Maryland Chapter, Gold Star Mothers, Donna Robinson, Janice Chance, Stephanie White, and Theresa Karlson to assist at the event. Maryland Gold Star Mother President, Theresa Karlson gave a speech about the Maryland Chapter Gold Star Mothers and her son LCpl Eugene C Mills III, USMC. The Maryland Gold Star Mothers also sponsored a hole at this golf tournament for 4 Military Veterans. The delicious lunch was provided by Oscar’s Alehouse Restaurant located in Woodstock, Maryland. Money was raised, that will allow, Wreaths Across America to purchase wreaths to lay on the graves of heroes resting in Maryland Veteran’s Cemeteries. National Wreaths Across America Day will be December 19, 2026. We are thankful for Wreaths Across America and their continued support of our Veterans, Gold Star Mothers and their families. The Maryland Chapter looks forward to providing support for next years, 6th Annual Wreaths Across America Golf Tournament.
