VA Volunteers were invited to serve at the Veterans VA Claims Clinic and Health & Resource Fair that was held at the South Carroll Senior and Community Center. The event was sponsored by the Chesapeake Veterans Alliance (CVA) and the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs in partnership with the Carroll County Government. Janice Chance represented the Maryland Chapter. She was assigned along with Minta Davis a U.S. Air Force veteran to serve as greeters.
Many veterans expressed their gratitude for being able to talk with someone in person about their claims and /or receive other resource information and assistance. The event was well attended.
