Gold Star Mothers Maryland Chapter was notified by Executive Director, Misty Bruce of MCVET in Baltimore, Maryland that they needed household items for their transitioning Veterans. These Veterans have completed their education at the Center and are now moving off campus into their own residence. The MCVET provides a comprehensive range of supportive services, designed to empower veterans on their journey towards success and well-being. With commitment to their physical, emotional, and professional needs, their supportive services aim to build strong foundations that foster resilience and growth. The MCVET is committed to offering a military-structured, seamless continuum of services that helps veterans in need transition from dependent to independent living. Gold Star Mothers Maryland Chapter donated items such as laundry baskets, kitchenware, toasters, cleaning supplies, towels and other items as needed to support these Veterans as they begin their new journey. Theresa Karlson and Janice Chance represented the Chapter, and we look forward to attending upcoming events to support their mission.
