National Honor Society Induction Ceremony The Severn School Severna Park, Maryland September 28, 2022

On September 28, 2022, The Maryland Gold Star Mothers were invited by Jamison Wildt to attend The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony at The Severn School in Severna Park Maryland. Gold Star Mothers Janice Chance, Donna Robinson, Gloria Crothers, Stephanie White and Zoumana Keita, husband of Gold Star Mother Khadidja Keita represented the chapter. Jamison was selected to speak about service because he did an exceptional job with prior speeches and is from a military family. His speech included the mission of The Gold Star Mothers – as they honor through service. The Gold Star Mothers and Zoumana Keita were recognized during the ceremony and were given a gift bag that contained a handmade white scarf with a gold star, a Severn School coffee mug, key chain, and cell phone grip. Jamison Wildt was very appreciative that The Gold Star Mothers attended and stated “My heart is full of gratitude for the amazing Gold Star Moms who came to support me yesterday. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to share the mission of the Gold Star Moms with my school and having you all there in the front row while I delivered my speech was the greatest honor of my life. I hope that I can someday pay forward the love and support you all showed me yesterday, it meant the world.”
