The American Legion Auxiliary Post 60 held their annual children’s Easter party. The Post 60 AL Auxiliary President invited the Maryland Chapter members to volunteer. Janice Chance and Khadijah Keita represented the Chapter. They served alongside the Auxiliary members, Legion members and several students from the St. Vincent Pallotti High School. The children participated in a variety of games, and making crafts. Janice served at the “Decorate A Chick” table and Khadijah served at the “Build a Bunny” table and also performed other duties. The children also participated in the Easter Egg Hunt and took pictures with the Easter bunny. They were rewarded with candy and special Easter eggs. The children and their relatives were also treated to refreshments throughout the party that included hot dogs, chips and beverages. There was a good turnout. Many families attended with their children to have fun and to begin their Easter celebrations.
