On September 11, 2025 Chuck Ritz, Founder of The Hope and Peace and Peace Foundation, held their annual 9/11 Candlelight Vigil and the Reading of Names. Maryland Gold Star Mothers Joy Goode, Geraldine Pepper, Yvonne Green and Gold Star Father Garry Green attended the event. The names of the Marylanders that were killed on 9/11 were read first and then finally, the names of Maryland’s Fallen post 9/11 were read. To end the night, a replica of the Twin Towers lit up the sky. #May We Never Forget.
