Dr. JoAnn Fisher, CEO of Women Veterans United Committee (WVUCI) invited The Maryland Gold Star Mothers to attend the annual baby shower for expectant women, and women with young children held on January 25, 2025 at The DAV Headquarters in Washington DC. The Maryland Gold Star Mothers were acknowledged as one of the sponsors of the baby shower. They provided a donation that was used for the purchase of diapers. Stephanie White and Joy Goode represented the Maryland Gold Star Mothers Chapter. Baby shower baskets, and clothing were distributed to the expectant mothers. Delicious food was served and there was baby shower games and fun activities that everyone could participate in. Kimberly White, Gold Star Sibling of PFC Robert Leon White, US Army and Elecia Roberts, Gold Star Sibling of FT2 Keon Askew received lovely baby baskets.
