The Warrior Event organization invited Maryland Gold Star Mothers to volunteer at the Warrior Events Annual Spring Tailgate held at the US Naval Academy Men’s Lacrosse game. USNA Men’s Lacrosse hosted the Army at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Gold Star Mothers included Janice Chance, Paula Davis, Khadidja Keita, Donna Robinson, Stephanie White, and Gold Star Sibling Sara Keita volunteered to assist Warrior Events. The Moms assisted with a variety of duties and provided support by helping to set up food, serving guests and donors, and selling t-shirts. The Moms served along with the Warrior Events staff and other volunteers. The Warrior Events’ mission is to provide opportunities for interaction, enjoyment, and camaraderie for wounded warriors and to raise awareness and appreciation among the public. They also support Gold Star families by connecting them to veterans within the community. The Maryland Chapter Moms consider it a pleasure and honor to serve and support this wonderful service organization! We are thankful to Warrior Events for their continued support and friendship.
