On August 15, 2024, Warrior Events once again invited the Maryland and Delaware Gold Star Mothers, and their guests to a fabulous night of cruising, dinner, dancing, and sweet fellowship aboard the Catherine Marie. As always, Bob Saunders and his team spoiled us and treated us like we were royalty. Thank you to The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel Staff for their hospitality. The hotel is beautiful and it is a wonderful place to stay, meet, and relax. We also want to thank the AMAZING Ken’s Creative Kitchen for the wonderful food. From the appetizers to the desserts, it was all scrumptious. Thank you as well to the Captain and crew for a safe, enjoyable, and fun ride on the Bay. The weather was just perfect for an evening cruise on the Catherine Marie Yacht. Along with the many ways we were loved on, Bob and the team, left us each a gift. This year, we received a white ball cap with a gold star emblem on it, and a Gold Star pendant Necklace. Our special time ended with a delicious breakfast that was provided by Pussers Caribbean Grille located inside the hotel. The breakfast was a bittersweet moment for us as we thanked the restaurant staff for their superb service since the restaurant will be closing Oct 2024. We are always so grateful and blessed for the outpouring of love and support we receive from the Warrior Events organization, and look forward to future events that we can support.
