The VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Department of Maryland 105th State
Convention and the 98th Auxiliary Convention took place in Ocean City at The Grand
Hotel from May 27 thru May 30, 2025. The Annual Memorial Service took place on
May 27, 2025. American Gold Star Mothers, Maryland Chapter Moms were once
again, invited to participate in the joint ceremony conducted by the VFW State and
Department Auxiliary Chaplain and Officers. Donna Robinson, Stephanie White,
Paula Davis Janice Chance and spouse Charlton Chance represented the MD
Chapter. Mr. Earl Ruff, Jr, Marine Corps League Commandant Baltimore Detachment
also attended the ceremony in support of the MD Chapter moms. VFW State
Chaplain Minister Tiffany Daniels conducted the Memorial Ceremony. The moms
were given the honor to lay flowers in memory of their fallen hero. Following the
ceremony, they were invited to attend to a special dinner hosted by the VFW State
and Department Commanders and officers.
