USO BWI Visit June 11, 2025 & July 15, 2025 Baltimore, MD

The Gold Star Mothers – Maryland Chapter had the honor of spending time at the BWI USO on June 11 & July 15.  The USO’s mission is simple yet powerful: to strengthen America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home, and country throughout their service to the nation. At BWI, that mission is lived every single day—supporting troops as they deploy, PCS, or transit through the airport.

On June 11 & July 15, the Maryland Chapter gave back to our Military in a heartfelt way.  They brought lunch to share with the deploying Troops.  On June 11, Janice Chance, Paula Davis, Joy Goode, Theresa Karlson, and Stephanie White, and on July 15, Basmattie Bishundat, Janice Chance, Paula Davis, Theresa Karlson and Stephanie White served lunch to the deploying Troops.  They were happy to share some comfort and camaraderie with those preparing to serve overseas. These moments of connection remind us that service doesn’t stop at the uniform—it lives on in every gesture of care and support.  To the troops they met:  thank you for your service. And to the USO staff and volunteers—thank you for always being there. You are truly the quiet champions behind the scenes.  The Maryland Chapter looks forward to hosting lunch in the future.
