Gold Star Mothers Maryland Chapter participated in the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday March 8th in Annapolis, Maryland. The Warrior Events’ leadership team, including Mark Humphries and Paige Havens, did an outstanding job as usual coordinating the Warrior Events float and volunteers sponsored by Fence and Deck Connection, Inc. Gold Star Moms Theresa Karlson, Janice Chance, and Donna Robinson had a great time as they were amazed at all the floats, attendees and observers. One of the Warrior Events floats included big wooden letters that spelled out HERO that included several Maryland fallen heroes’ pictures, which were affixed to the letters. Janice and Theresa held our Fallen Heroes’ banner as they walked the course. Donna waved to observers from the float. We were followed by the local boy scout troop who were dressed like Army men. Due to construction at the Annapolis City dock, the course ended near Church circle. Even though this changed from last year, there were still many observers along the route. We look forward to participating in future events with Warrior Events.
