Dana Burl, Deputy Secretary, Military Family Policy and Programs, Maryland Dept. of Veterans and Military Families, extended an invitation to the American Gold Star Mothers Maryland Chapter to attend the Orioles Baseball Game at Camden Yards on May 26, 2025. Gold Star Mothers Janice Chance, Donna Robinson, Stephanie White, and their guests including Gold Star sibling Jenine Melton, who is the Charles County Veterans Affairs Commissioner were at the game. Everyone enjoyed the great fellowship, delicious catered food in the Governor’s suite. Lt. Governor Aruna Miller stopped by the suite to visit with the Gold Star Mothers. Fortunately, the Orioles won the game against the St. Louis Cardinals with the score being Orioles 5 and Cardinals 2.
